Brian Flinn – Everest (DJ Sandman Remix)

A new release on Fuzion Four Records by Brian Flinn. With a simple melodic synth line and a hard driving bass line, Everest is certain to tear up the dance floor followed by two equally energetic and melodic remixes by the likes of Fuzzy Lounge’s own DJ Sandman and Brett Stokes both from the West coast of Washington in the USA. You can hear the original mix and all of the other great remixes here on Beatport or iTunes.

      Captivated Remix

Max Go & Chris Lawr. Captivated DJ Sandman Remix
Max Go & Chris Lawr feat. Cami Bradley – Captivated (Dj Sandman Remix)

I am excited to announce a HUGE remix release on Fuzion Four Records today. The original track was produced by Max Go & Chris Lawr. from Spokane, Washington. It features beautiful vocals from Cami Bradley also from Spokane. I first heard the original mix on Souncloud. The vocals immediately inspired me and I approached Max and Chris to see if they would let me remix it. After discussions with Aaron at Fuzion Four Records, a contract, and a few evenings in the studio; this is what I came up with. You can hear the original mix and all of the other great remixes here on Beatport or iTunes.

        Charts, Charts, Charts (3/20/11)

Well its that time again – my quarterly study of music trends, playlists, charts and popular songs. Here are some of the charts that I have viewed recently and their respective Top 10s. Even though it has been a few months since my last charts post, it is interesting to note that the Top 10s have changed but that the previous songs are still hanging around in the expanded versions of these charts… Read More »

I never enjoy writing posts like this, but I feel that the hip-hop world has lost an amazing and under-appreciated artist… Nate Dogg was very influential in popular music. It can be argued that he is one of the most important hip-hop singers and collaborators in history. I am lucky that I can say I saw him live in concert twice: Once at the grand opening of Experience Music Project in 2000 and then a couple months later in the Tacoma Dome for the Dr. Dre – Up In Smoke Tour.
