Beatrix Movie

Beatrix is a MiniDV short film that was released in 2005 by Axed Productions and is the debut short film written and directed by Jeff Axtman. The musical score was arranged by Foolchild (Jason Axtman) and the music soundtrack was provided by Fuzzy Lounge Recordings and the artists Beat Collision. Beatrix was honored and viewed at the 2005 Hollywood DV Film Festival.

NiT GRiT – This Old Heart

Bay Area dubstep producer Danny Beall (aka NiT GRiT) has released a brand new track exclusively for the bloggers of internet land. In a way to fight his writer’s block he’s trying a “new” form of music promotion, utilizing the music blogs to spread the word of his creations.

If you’re not familiar with NiT GRiT’s sound, he’s known for adding a melodic touch to the bass-heavy dubstep genre. This track, in particular, leans more towards a cerebral atmosphere rather than a dance floor banger. It still has the trademark dubstep sounds, i.e. hard drum beat, oscillated bass tones, and massive drops, but with a touch of soul.

Michael Jackson – New Single “Breaking News”

So I must admit I just found out about this on Sunday afternoon and was checking online later at midnight on Monday, November 8. It’s just a teaser but sounds like a very interesting song. I can’t wait to find out more about the production. All I know so far is that this was recorded in 2007 and got a new musical treatment in 2009 right after he died. The rumor is that this is produced by Red One (Lady Gaga producer.) Supposedly this will be on MJ’s official website for only 1 week…. Check it out:
